The OrdoLectura Method

Architecture of Deep Reading

“One text. One day. One life changed over time.”

How We Read

Most people read to consume information. We read to be formed. Our method systematically guides you through four levels of depth.

1

Elementary

Understanding the literal meaning of words and sentences.

2

Inspectional

Placing the text in the context of the author's work and historical era.

3

Analytical

Actively wrestling with the author's claims — our Practice question.

4

Syntopical

Comparing today's text with what you read yesterday or a month ago.

Most platforms stop at Level 1. We push you to Levels 3 and 4 — where formation happens.

How We Think

Wisdom comes not from reading, but from writing and connecting. Each daily session ends with a process that turns your mind into a web of insight.

1

Literature Note

After reading the passage, write one sentence in your own words. What did the author truly mean to say to you?

2

Permanent Note

How does this thought fit into your life or work? This is the moment the text stops being the author's and becomes yours.

3

The Link

Find at least one connection to previous readings. How does Marcus Aurelius agree or disagree with Montaigne?
